Meet Danny Gobbo and Jeff Bourque, the owners of The Thirsty Butler, a Sports Bar and Restaurant in the Walkerville district of Windsor, Ontario. Danny has been in the restaurant industry since 1981 when he opened up "Peachy’s" in downtown Windsor. Shortly after, opened "Bentleys Roadhouse", and finally the "Electric Fish". Jeff met Danny during those days when he was a wine cooler rep, and they became instant friends.

Danny took some time away from the restaurant industry and found it was tough for him to stay away. Danny and Jeff looked around for the perfect spot over the span of a few years, and decided Walkerville was the best place to create their new adventure. "The Thirsty Butler" was born in June of 2018. The original concept was to create a Jazz Lounge with weekly live entertainment and an extensive, unique cocktail menu. They also became known for their charcuterie boards.

After a year and a half, they saw a growing need for a Sports Bar in the Walkerville area, so they began re-branding. The bar and restaurant now features 7 big screens TV’s with a plan for 3 to 4 more in the near future. They have a full hot kitchen, with a new menu that includes a large range of pub-style food to full entrée items!

The Thirsty Butler is located in the Walkerville area of Windsor, at 1585 Wyandotte St E. This is on the southwest corner of Lincoln and Wyandotte Streets. For parking, there is a municipal lot at the rear of The Thirsty Butler on Lincoln. Parking is free here after 7pm. Generally there is available free parking on nearby streets.
